Red wine and white wine differences

Except color, there are many other differences between red wine and white wine. For example, take the taste. Red wine tastes much heavier and more complex when you compare with sorting white. While there are different types of sweet red, generally whites are made sweeter than red varieties.

White wines are made from white grapes, separating the skin of the grape juice and yeast is added to the fermentation righteous purposes until the juice is white wine. Then the wine is stored for ageing in stainless steel or oak wood containers.

On the other hand, when the red wine, the process is slightly different. It is made of black and red grapes or grapes are crushed here first and then are added with their skin to a fermentation process that takes about 1-2 weeks to finish. Towards the end, the skin that raises the surface and form a layer above that usually is mixed in juice (juice of fermentation). When the fermentation period is over, the wine is then pressed into a wine press to be clarified first and then stored away in oak containers for a couple of months before they can be transferred into bottles. When you store the Red Oak containers, moving to additional wine tannin which contains the oak, that gives that extra flavour to red wine that can be found in any white wine.

This is actually one of the main differences between the two types of wines, the amount which usually contain tannin. Of course the red one has even more because tannin is coming from the skin of the grape and the wine is made without the actual skin.

Another main difference is the fact that there are likely to find flavors more red wines than white. And if you believe what they say about the health benefits that the Red gives about Resveratrol, one more reason to go with red wine during your next shopping spree)
